Our client, a well established financial insitution, is looking for a senior fund accountant on a freelance contract basis for 6 months.
Key responsibilities
- Calculate, control and validate NAVs.
- Perform and review reconciliations.
- Contribute to fund lifecycle tasks.
- Respect client NAV publication cut-offs.
- Support year-end closing and audit.
- Take part in projects: fund migrations, mergers, new fund launches, liquidations.
- Support the team: improve procedures, train juniors and new joiners, perform second level checks and archive the NAV pack.
Your profile
- At least 4–5 years’ experience in fund accounting or fund administration, ideally in Luxembourg.
- Solid knowledge of Lux GAAP and/or IFRS.
- Proven experience in NAV calculation and second level control.
- Comfortable with industry systems (Multifonds, Hi-Portfolio, eFront or similar) and with Excel.
- Fluent English is required; French is an asset.
