Our client, a well established financial institution is looking for a fund accountant on a freelance basis for 6 months.
Your responsibilities
- Production of annual and semi-annual statutory reports for Luxembourg funds
- Production of specific client reporting (e.g. quarterly reports)
- Strict compliance with legal deadlines
- Preparation of the complete set of financial statements, portfolio.
- Management of the production timetable,
- Handling of auditor and client comments
- Organizing signature and distribution of documents
- Electronic filing of the financial statements with the CSSF via e-file
- Production of annual CSSF statistics for the relevant fund scope
- Handling of CSSF comments/queries
Your profile
- 3+ years in financial reporting for funds, ideally in Luxembourg
- Solid knowledge of Lux GAAP and/or IFRS and of Luxembourg regulatory reporting
- Familiarity with the reporting rules.
- Well organised, able to juggle several reporting cycles and hold firm deadlines
- Fluent English; French is an asset
