The responsibilities

Manage tenders (support in drafting specifications, bid analysis, presentations, financial & contractual negotiations)
Manage and challenge contracted suppliers
Negotiate all site-specific purchasing needs
Actively participate in an optimization and cost-reduction approach
Ensure compliance and the
Compliance of suppliers
Proactively contribute to the development of purchasing strategy in line with needs and existing contractual commitments
Propose and monitor a purchasing roadmap
Set up KPIs

Technical skills:
Strong knowledge of works procurement and associated technical services (construction, civil engineering, assembly of metal structures, heavy equipment, installation of process equipment and piping, mechanical assembly, heavy lifting, scaffolding, electricity, piping, etc.)
Expertise in negotiation and contract management
Knowledge of an ERP would be a plus
